The 5.11 Tactical 3.6 Med Kit Pouch has received some mixed reviews. We found reviews from First Responders, Law Enforcement officials and others who did not disclose their profession. There are those who gave the product a five star review saying it is easy to carry and accommodates first aid items such as gauzes, Betadine and syringes well. One reviewer was a medic who states the pouch is very useful for their job.
Others think the bag itself is great with the downfall being its size and note in their reviews that the pouch needs some work. Reviewers love the slickstick feature that allows the pouch to 5.11 backpacks and vests. It is noted that this is not a full size kit but just one to hold the essentials. Apart from the size, they note that it is well constructed, sturdy and will stand up to remarkable amounts of wear and tear. One reviewer noted that they used theirs not as intended but instead as a blow out kit when they go shooting.
Other reviewers were not so kind. One reviewer went as far ass saying he doesn’t know what the pouch was designed for. He noted that the tourniquet pouch was too small and the hard strap on the interior could make the pouch better if it was flexible. He noted that as it is he wouldn’t recommend the product but said that with a couple tweaks it could be a great product.
One reviewer notes that this is the first 5.11 Product they have ever purchased that they are not satisfied with. One noted that it doesn’t fit any of the items he uses and wanted to know what they used to design the bag. One reviewer said after trying out the pouch he gave it to his kid to play with. One noted that the kit is suitable for a little pack of burn gel, some band aids and some fluorescein but beyond that it can’t hold much more.
But the up side to these reviews is that these are what help 5.11 Tactical to make their products better. And without such reviews the 5.11 Tactical 3.6 Med Kit pouch cannot get any better. Though the product has gotten a couple bad reviews we here at Range Master trust that 5.11 will come up with ways to improve this pouch as they have done over the years with all their products.
